From check in to check out, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Waitresses, maids, drivers, indeed everyone was pleasant and helpful. Early on the morning of our departure, I stopped at the front desk to arrange an airport shuttle. The assistant asked me for my room number. She then told me a shuttle had already been arranged. The quality of the food on the breakfast buffet was way above average with fresh strawberries, pineapple, blueberries for the taking. Breads came from a local bakery. A large platter of fresh lox, tomatoes, capers and onions was available both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The central location in a very walkable town made for an ideal setting. Both the exercise room and the pool/hot tub were first class. We travel a lot, staying in all sorts of hotels. This one stands out.
