The capital of the department of Magdalena, which was founded in 1525, is one of the oldest cities in South America.TAX EXEMPTION LAW :According to the 2646 decree of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Colombia, are exempted from payment of tax those foreign residents who purchase a plan or vacation package (accommodation + meals or any transfer) and present your passport at the hotel with corresponding migratory seals custom Colombia evidencing income due. This process is valid provided that the entrance to the hotel is in a period not exceeding 30 days of entering the country.According to Colombian law, they are only exempt from paying tourists that have VISA or permit TP-11 PIP-5 / PTP-5.Optional Hotel insurance fee of $3 USD per person per stay is not included.
