"The Worst Motel 6 Experience That Anyone Could Ever Imagine!"

I knew I was in for a very bad experience two minutes after walking through the door of this Motel 6. To start with the night/early morning manager told me that the reservation and confirmation numbers were of no value "WHATS SO EVER"! For he did not care that I had these records to direct his attention to. He told me that the commitments made by the "MOTEL 6" hireling was of value and the policy of "MOTEL 6" was that they had "NO" obligation or intentions to honer such "Online" commitments and he then proceeded to in fact prove it to me. So even though I had a reservation date for check in and check out time backed by a "Confirmation Number" he was not obligated to honer it! And in fact went so far as to issue a "FALSELY DATED CHECK IN RECEIPT WITH NO CHECK IN TIME PRINTED ON RECEIPT"! Along with his encouragement to take it or leave it. Also please find below this writing first letter I sent to Motel 6 that they still have not responded to that houses numbers and dates of my worthless reservation and money paid. FIRST LETTER SENT 6/4/2019 To Whom It May Concern, If Anybody; 6/4/2019 Hello my name is Michael Louis Burrell and I have had a most distasteful experience with your; Motel 6 Portland South Lake Oswego Tigard; 7950 SW Mcewan Ave. Tigard, Or. 97224 during my most recent trip from my home in Wuhan China while coming to Portland Oregon to attend my oldest grandson's High School Graduation. I made arrangements via the Internet, with what I thought was an “Official” Motel 6 booking site choosing this site as it appeared to be one “Belonging” to and overseen by your very reputable and up front company. I now strongly regret the decision to have done so for the person that I talked to blatantly may have mislead me, or at best doesn't know your companies “Carved in Stone” rules as the night/early morning manager of the above Motel 6 suggested to me “referring” to “Whoever” I made the booking with!? Here please allow me to back up to the day I booked the reservation; 5/24/2019, Confirmation #1263511627, Itinerary #8134006008714; Check In: June 3, 2019 and Check Out: June 6, 2019. When I made this reservation and “PAID” in full for the three days and three nights I “Point Blank” told the person taking my booking details that we would be “Arriving and Checking In” between 1:30 to 2:30 in “AM” on JUNE the 3rd and staying to check out on JUNE the 6th, “Asking the person taking my information if there would be any problem with checking in and out at those dates and times and he said “NOT AT ALL”. We actually “Checked In” at 2:35 AM 6/3/2019. When I told this to your night/early morning manager it was at this time he said to me that the person that took this booking; “ Blatantly may have mislead me”? Because it is Motel 6's rule, “Carved In Stone” that 5:30AM is the earliest check in time. He then went on to tell me that I hadn't paid Motel 6 any money even though I thought I had because I expected the cost of the rooms to have been taken from my debit card account to the tune of $231.10! He, the night/early morning manager, then went on to say that I must accept a falsely dated receipt of check in time and date of 6/2/2019 even though were nearing 3:00 AM on the morning of the 3rd of June, 2019. He went on to explain to me that Motel 6 “Always” falsifies early morning check in times as it “Brings” in a “Better” bottom line because the Motel 6 guest is “Renting” a room from a “Back Dated” point. Causing guest to pay three days and nights rent, but only receiving two days and two nights. Of course he pointed out to me that I didn't have pay him anything and I could go some place else and yes you can bet that in the future that will be the case. But this time, because of the hour and because my wife and I had just finished a 20 hour trip from China and we had no transportation, I paid the money and signed the Falsely dated receipt. Your upper management can do something about gross injustice by notifying the management of; Motel 6 Portland South Lake Oswego Tigard; 7950 SW Mcewan Ave. Tigard, Or. 97224, to move my check out time to where your booking agent had it at my request and his/her consent, when I confirmed and made my reservation and received “Confirmation” of three days and three nights and paid $231.10 (I thought) on 5/24/19 to cover check in time on 6/3/2019 and check out time 6/6/2019. I booked in advance and paid for three days and three nights and I expect your very large and very well known company to give to me what I have paid you for. Thank you for your attention to this matter and your “Swift” correction to bring justice to all involved in the development to attempt to bring about such poor customer relationships.
