The hotel is located in a stunning setting and is a beautiful old country mansion amongst woodland and near a millpond which is great for walking. Even just spending one night away at this hotel seems longer as you are transported to a different pace of life. Really good value for money. Will most definitely return as having stayed here twice in the past six months, I can see this becoming a favorite country retreat.

Property Description

This magnificent hotel and conference venue has been sympathetically restored with plenty of areas to enjoy the wonderful grade II listed gardens. Views from many of our bedrooms overlook temples - grottos - streams - bridges and woodlands which are shared with numerous rabbits and pheasants. As an atmospheric setting for your conference - wedding or leisure break - the magnificent De Vere Wotton Estate is ideal. Set in 20 acres of spectacular grounds it was once the 17th century family home of botanist John Evelyn. Now thoughtfully renovated this first-class venue is within easy reach of Gatwick Airport - London and Guildford.
