Property Description

Originally an old coaching inn; Arundell Arms is now one of Englands premier fly fishing hotels. With exclusive fishing on over 20 miles of river bank; anglers can have up to a mile of water to themselves for the day. The hotel employs two fishing instructors who issue rod licenses; give directions; maps and advice for those who wish to perfect the art of fishing. The hotel also runs fishing courses for beginners. In the garden is a 250 year old cock fighting pit; one of the last few remaining in England and now used as the hotels rod and fishing tackle shop. The 25 en-suite bedrooms are decorated in a country house style and furnished in a traditional style. Room types range from singles to large doubles; all with desk; TV; tea;coffee making facilities; hairdryer;free WIFI. Rooms at the back overlook the terraced garden and a landscaped garden. Other sports available include shooting; driven pheasant; driven snipe; rough shooting; ferreting; rabbit shooting and deer stalking. For relaxation; the hotel offers massages and therapies through their affiliation with Tranquillity Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and free car parking for up to 80 cars.
