Property Description
Surrounded by 200 acres of parkland Swinton Park Castle hotel is an authentic stately ancestral home furnished with antiques and family portraits and styled on the outside with romantic towers and castellated parapets. The 31 en-suite bedrooms are lavishly furnished individually designed and named after surrounding countryside estates and towns. All with CD player flat screen TV trouser press drinks tray free Wi-Fi tea/coffee making facilities and a spacious bathroom some with separate showers. All situated on the 1st and 2nd floors and served by a lift. Four bedrooms are equipped with grab rails. The hotel has five suites including one fairy tale suite set on three circular floors connected by a steeped curved staircase in the Turret. A fairy tale castle for a fairy tale wedding the hotel holds a civil ceremony licence for the spacious Library Room with access to the garden the Panelled Room designed by English architect John Carr and the intimate Lister Room in the romantic Turret. Exclusive use of the hotel is available. For relaxation the spa and fitness centre in the Conservatory offers a variety of health and beauty treatments there is a Victorian games room with snooker and a private cinema. Outdoor activities in the grounds include cricket boules and croquet on the lawn kite flying birds of prey centre archery mountain bike hire coracle courses on the lake and a personal trainer. The hotel also has its own Cookery school in the restored Georgian stables. Free Wi-Fi and ample free car parking space onsite.
