The Bower Inn is a very attractive 18th century building set in a picturesque cottage garden on the edge of the Somerset Levels with easy access to the M5 Motorway Juction 23, offering a quali ty Country Pub, Hotel and Restaurant . The Bower Inn Country Pub , Hotel and Restaurant The Bower was closed in summer 2008 and s tayed that way until Peter and Candida, its current owners, purc hased and renovated it in 2010. After a complete re-fit we re-op ened in summer 2010. Initially just the restaurant and bar, foll owed in late autumn with 5 quality en-suite bedrooms. Since Augu st 2010 the business has grown significantly and includes freque nt functions, weddings and celebrations of all types. We now hav e 16 bedrooms with a mixture of antique and modern furnishings. All are wonderfully comfortable and welcoming with Hypnos mattre sses, Matki rain showers, cosy dressing gowns and hospitality tr ays. We hope you enjoy our unique and personal style. In our res taurant we create menus that let the quality of our local produc e shine through - we only use free range meat and our busy bees and neighbours hens work hard to make us honey and eggs. All our en-suite rooms are warm, inviting and individual. Almost all of our bedrooms have deluxe king size or large single with duck fe ather duvets and pillows (synthetic bedding available by request ) and hypnos mattresses . Our theme is warmth and a sense of wel come, we want you to throw off your shoes, put your feet up and relax.
