"The Worse Day time Manager she was AWFUL. The Property location is very good."
Overall Score3.0/ 5
HotelPlanner's representative informed me that I could pay at the hotel, however, when I asked about cancellation HotelPlanner charged my card immediately. So I drove to the hotel because I have now paid for a room that I did not want. I drove to the property to check in and was faced with a hostel female daytime manager. Who was so rude that she and my sister argued. She actually to my sister and I to "Just Stop Talking." I was upset that I could not cancel, I made the reservation due to a power outage from the storm. When I arrived and told the front desk "manager" a "Karen" my dilemma, she was not interested and proceeded to ask for my card to process incidentals if I wanted to stay and she nothing to do with the 'third party HotelPlanner. Just rude in every way, which prompted me to swear. My sister attempted to negotiate with this person and the both became loud and embarrassing until another manager had to intervene. I am writing a letter to the Marriott as well, she should be fired for her unprofessional behavior. I do no think if I was someone else she would have behave that way. It was a miserable experience and I have traveled the world, I rate this front desk drama as number one or two on the list of worse staff.. It really put a damper on the stay which was really a nice hotel and great location.
