Reservation was messed up right from check in, room was old and musty, bed springs were coming into my back, sheets were very itchy, room was so dry I kept sneezing. The only good thing was we had a view of the ocean. Staff didn't do anything to make our staff better. I would never stay there again.

The Claridge Hotel was a great choice for my family to stay in Atlantic City. The hotel staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel itself has “old world” charm. It was tastefully decorated and had lots of history in the design and pictures on the walls. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at the Claridge Hotel.

"Old hotel with new school hospitality."

Dumb title, but this hotel met our expectations well when it came to location and service. The only downside was that there was no microwave in the rooms (standard for older hotels) and that they likely needed more staff given the fact that it was an extremely busy weekend (Warped Tour). However, everyone there was very nice and accommodating even though they were being overrun by a couple hundred emo punk rock kids straight off the beach.

The Claridge Hotel, once known by its 1929 nickname “Skyscraper by the Sea”, radiates a breathtaking Manhattanesque design situated in the prime center of the Atlantic City's boardwalk. One of the last remaining architectural masterpieces from the Boardwalk Empire Era, The Claridge Hotel housed such legends as Marilyn Monroe, Al Capone, Nucky Johnson, Princess Grace of Monaco and Frank Sinatra.The “New” Claridge Hotel will target all market segments such as leisure travelers, families, group travel and convention business. Emphasis will be placed on providing unique service amenities such as private limo transportation, shopping and golf packages, cardio health club, spectacular entertainment in the 600 seat Las Vegas style cabaret showroom and an elegant ballroom facility to host weddings and private functions.
