Based on our one night stay, this hotel is an embarrassment to your brand. Our family had three rooms booked and each had minor to serious shortcomings as follows: Room 108 (king) Had no bath towels, phone was not hooked up, the refrigerator had food and beer left in it by a prior guest. Room 129 (king) – Had no bath or hand towels or washcloths, toilet was dirty and toilet seat was loose, remote for TV did not work. This room was booked as “handicap accessible”. Generally, such rooms have a low entry shower for a handicapped person, however this room had a standard size bathtub/shower with a number of several added grab bars. The step into the bathtub was not convenient for us. Room 111 (2 queens) the worst! – Had no clean towels wash cloths or bath mat (except a dirty town in the bath room left by a prior guest), no electricity along the wall feeding the lamp, TV microwave or refrigerator, food was left in refrigerator by prior guest and left a horrible odor due to fridge not working, no hair dryer, iron, ironing board or TV remote (which would have been useless with TV not working) and carpet and floors were not clean. When we checked in on Sunday afternoon it seemed chaotic. The desk clerk was trying to take care of us and other guests but apparently many of the hotels rooms hadn't been cleaned and were not available. Upon our arrival, there appeared to be a housekeeping crew there but did not seem interested in helping out. The clerk was actually going room to room to see if any were acceptable to assign, even seeking an alternative for Room 111 but none were found. Eventually later in the evening, the desk clerk was able to provide towels. I must add that the clerk also tried to improve the electrical issue in Room 111 by checking breakers to no avail. In short, our late afternoon arrival found a situation ill prepared to accept guests, desk clerks that were overwhelmed (we were told only one computer was working and other guests were also arriving thus slowing the process), a housekeeping staff that appeared to be on permanent break and observed other guests facing many of the same type of issues described here. To be fair, Monday morning was a lot different. The hotel seemed to be adequately staffed, all of the staff was courteous and friendly but, of course, we were on our way out. Perhaps not directly related to the hotel, but booking though you call center was also a bad experience. I had a very difficult time understanding the agent and had to have much repeated. Our receipt for the details of our bill were not clear. I recall the room rates for each room were in mid $60 range, but final bill was about $100 each. There was no detail on the makeup of the approximate $35 in charges for fees and taxes. This seemed very high, making up over a third of the bill!

Our facility is located 9 miles from Lambert International Airport with excellent access to anywhere in the St Louis metro area via I-70, I-270 or Lindbergh Blvd. There are over 50 restaurants within 5 mile radius. Local attractions include: St. Louis Mills Mall, Hollywood Casino, Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, AmeriStar Casino, Historic St. Charles District. Complimentary Hot Breakfast, Complimentary 24-hour business center, Complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Hotel has onsite laundry facilities. Hotel has a fitness room.
