I really enjoyed myself during my stay. The only thing that was disappointing was room service. When I booked my stay I was under the impression that the hotel provided service. Staff explained due to Covid, the kitchen had to go shut down. She did provide list of restaurants in the area. I just wish that was provided beforehand but I do understand the situation. The room was clean and comfortable. I was happy with my stay and plan to stay again in the near future.

I was excited to stay here based on the online reviews and pictures. From the beginning, we had issues. We were staying at the hotel for a wedding and we arrived early in the day. Despite the fact that the hotel's website says early check in was available, when we tried to check in with the front desk, we were very rudely informed that we had to wait until 3:00pm. We weren't offered a place to leave our bags or anything else. I understand that early check in is when available only. I didn't necessarily expect to be able to check in right away. But I did expect the front desk person to be polite and helpful and perhaps to put our name on a waiting list. People were constantly checking out of the hotel as we waited, so it was clear there would be many rooms ready before 3:00pm. Once we got in the room, it was spacious and comfortable. It was clear, however, that it hadn't been updated in some time. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, the door stoppers on the back of both bathrooms doors were broken. The lighting in all the rooms was very very poor. There were no overhead lights and the lamps in the rooms have very dim bulbs. The countertop in on of the bathrooms had a nice finish, but it still had paint marking what room it should go to from when it had been installed. The room number was never removed. Housekeeping was hit or miss one day they didn't line the trash cans with trash bags. One day they refreshed the coffee station but didn't give us any cups at all. One day there was only one lid for coffee cups (for a suite sized room). Finally, the elevators were out of service for almost the entirety of our five day stay. Even when they were working, I didn't feel comfortable taking them. One time, I was trapped in the elevator between floors for about five minutes before it moved again on its own. Another time, the elevator stopped between floors and then dropped about three feet before catching itself, which was a terrifying feeling. In general, the room was very large, the bed was comfortable, I loved having two bathrooms in the suite, but the attention to detail just wasn't there at all. My travel companion and I kept saying, this is ALMOST right, this is ALMOST good.

When I booked the room I specifically asked about the continental breakfast I was told they offered free breakfast then when we ate breakfast it cost $34.00. I didnt have breakfast the next day. Still waiting on my receipt that I haven't gotten yet and I am still waiting for Crowne plaza to unpend my money.

Room was clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect location for purposes of my itinerary. Only one thing that prevents me from giving it 5/5 is the maintenance. It's obvious that the shower faucet handle has been replaced with a new one that doesn't fit properly. Although it worked, it always felt like it would fall off in my hand when in use.
