I had stayed at this hotel a couple times in the past for the Columbus Hot Chocolate 15K and had no issues. This times was different. When I checked in the lobby smelled like a dirty mop. The hallway on the 6th floor smelled even worse. Thankfully our room smelled fine. However the comforter on one of the beds had a dirty spot on the under side. We asked for a replacement and we're told it would be brought right up. This was around 9:30 pm or so… so not late. No one ever brought a replacement comforter to our room. The carpet in the room was also dirty. This is all rather disappointing since it was a satisfactory and cost effective place to stay for race weekend in the past.

I've come here every year for five years and never had an issue. This year was awful. They falsely advertised my "suite" which was just a normal hotel room, so I ended up paying extra for nothing. Staff were unable to separate their personal issues/anger from their job and I was yelled at. Not good experience.

The hotel wasn't very clean, I was also assigned a wheelchair accessible room when I am not a wheelchair individual. Once we left the stay, I was charged multiple times for our stay and I am currently still working to receive a refund because I pre paid months ago. Not a great stay.

The staff from the front of the house to the maintenance and the restaurant crew all were so nice. The area was convenient for us to get to places like the gas stations, stores or restaurants. I will recommend this hotel to my folks whenever they come into Columbus!

Never got a email back when I asked for a refund. The sales rep(front desk told me I was in walking distance from lost lands( edm festival) when I looked more into it. It wasn't walking it was 20 min drive. I know it's COVID and trying to make a sale. Lying is not a solution. This situation was tbh horrid.

When I got my room I found only one king bed and no pull out sofa. After talking to the front desk they just blamed a 3rd party and were no help. Someone did not get a bed to sleep on as we thought we were getting a place that would sleep 5. To top it off there was only one microwave on the first floor for the whole hotel.

The staff was incredible! Unfortunately many of our room amenities didn't function properly. Our fridge was leaking and didnt stay cold, our TV didn't work until we had to call for maintenance, the ice machine on our floor wasn't functional. Had a great stay but really would've loved confirmation that the small things would've worked so maybe our stay could've been perfect!

I loved my stay. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. There was an event happening nearby and I thought it would be chaos but not at all. I would stay here again any time I go back to Columbus.

Loved staying here. Felt like home and have no issues with it. They let me check in early over 6 hours prior to the three PM check in time which was the best service they could of done for me, otherwise I would of been stranded in the airport for 6 hours. Big ups to this hotel and will be considering them again when I visit Columbus.

I booked a room here for me and my boyfriend, we were very pleased with our stay. The room rates were reasonable and the hotel location was extremely convenient. The staff that helped us check in and provide breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even with so many people there, they were patient and happy to answer everyone's questions. Our room was comfortable and very clean. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Our room was kind of small however it was clean and your hotel staff were extremely friendly, inviting and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay even though the pool was not opened due to covid and we look forward to returning to your hotel in the future if we need to return to the area. Room check in was great with no trouble, the very nice lady how gave out the breakfast bags was very welcoming. The room was clean and so was all the common areas. Had trouble with a loud room next door called the desk and they sent up security. I would be glad to stay here again and recommend this location.

Upon arrival we were greeted by extremely professional, friendly and helpful staff. Through out the visit we were made comfortable and provided excellent customer service. Our room was clean and well stocked with linens. Overall our stay was excellent, however we were disappointed that in part I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool, but the pool was out of service.

The first room I was assigned had deep red stains that resembled blood on the carpet as well as make up on one of the pillow cases. The staff was very kind and gave me a new room, however in the second room there was some hair in the bathroom. Aside from the cleanliness, the staff was very kind and accommodating.

Overall my time at the Holiday Inn Express in Columbus was a great one. The only complaint I had was the lack of restaurants near the hotel. But all the small things add up a lot, such as good WiFi signal, (VERY)comfy pillows, good working AC, multiple towels, ez parking, helpful staff and the shower had almost instant hot water and good water pressure. An excellent rating for the price point and I would definitely stay here again.

all the plugs in the room did not work no one came to give us clean towels and we had to call the front desk ever time in order to get towels no one ever came to clean the room the workers were not helpful when we asked for information the room was very dirty upon arrival no one ever came to take the trash and give us a new garbage bag.

We were a day late checking in due to some car problems we ran into on the way, at first they tried saying they gave our room away and I was very upset because we prepaid and had nowhere else to go. they ended up making it work thank god. rooms are clean and nice, beds are comfortable, nice clean shower. modern looking rooms. has decent sized mini fridge but not a microwave.
