Not in the best area in downtown Jackson but we were there for a wedding and felt perfectly safe. Our car was fine in Valet and it is right across the street from the police station. Hotel was nice and had been redone. Our room had some stains on the coverlet and a hole in the pillowcase but felt clean otherwise. Breakfast was good in restaurant and we met other couples in bar area. Great service in both.
