Our 900-acre resort is easily accessible in scenic Lake Harmony, just 4 miles from the junction of Interstate 80 and the PA Turnpike's Northeast Extension. The Wilkes Barre/Scranton Airport and the Lehigh Valley International Airport are only 45 minutes away.Accommodations at Split Rock now include 650 guest rooms including a variety of suites, villas and Lodge rooms overlooking Lake Harmony, with 48 additional suites soon to be completed. Conference facilities include 23 meeting rooms, two multi-function ballrooms and two exhibition centers totaling 52,000 square feet of exhibit space. With a grand total of 77,000 square feet of flexible space to accommodate 15 to 2500 guests, Split Rock is a unique and excellent site for your next meeting. Outdoor leisure amenities include 27 holes of Championship golf, driving range, boating, tennis and basketball courts, miniature golf, sand volleyball, softball, scenic biking and hiking trails, beach, outdoor pool, and much more. Inclement weather—no problem! Green Sustainability
Split Rock Resort has created a task force to study, suggest and implement green initiatives for all three of the properties under Vacation Charters Ltd, and is proud of those being put into operation. ~In 2006 all common areas of the Galleria were converted to energy-saving fluorescent lighting. ~As of January 2007, energy-saving thermostats have been installed in Westwood Villas. ~In February 2007 Split Rock opened its own laundry facility, complete with energy efficient dryers and two new copper-coil boilers that are 87% proficient. ~In March 2007 recycling begins for comingle (glass, plastic, aluminum) and cardboard.~Whenever possible, china and glass are used instead of Styrofoam, paper or plastic, for food and beverage. ~For meetings, attendees are provided with notepads made from recycled paper.~Replaced all gas powered golf carts with Electric models.
