Three things that we value. First, we arrived late and were greeted in the lobby and shown our room. The desk employee helped adjust our room reservation. Word of caution : if you book on another site, one hand does not talk to the other. They ARE pet friendly. They do not line the pet friendly rooms in a corridor, so one dog does not set off the other. The dog friendly rooms have wood floors and Mexican tiles. No rugs. The fee is $50 per dog per night. We have small dogs snd they adjusted that. Plus, we always took them with us. It is up to vacationer to ask ahead of time. A bit crazy $100, per nite for pets when the room rate was $81. I get they have to sanitize. Still, had I seen that, I would not have made reservations. As I said, they made adjustments. We were there for four days. I did not smell anything and, I have a good nose. The room WAS smoke free! Smart move not having carpets. I am not sure why, but there is no microwave in that room. THAT was a bummer. The kitchenette rooms have carpet, so you cannot have a pet there. We did not really leave our two small dogs in the room, so I did not have any experience with their behavior. You do have to have them caged if you want cleaning service. The lounge room is New England Comfortable, not sterile snd staged. Walk dogs on the grounds, or up the street. The pool was empty mid week, but it was still serviced. A good value for the money. The word “resort” is a bit of a stretch, as there are not other accommodations that you would associate with the term that the Yarmouth Resort does not offer, but that is just the way it is up and down 28. The lower price reflects that. Coffee in the spacious lounge from 8 on. No restaurant on the premises or breakfast, with was okay with us. There are plenty of places nearby to go to or Door Dash. The room does have a fridge. No coffeemaker either. Next door there is a lovely dinner restaurant. It is close to Hyannis for whale watching and ferries to Nantucket and MV. You can pull your car up to the door, motel like, but there is also inside access. The room and bathroom are spacious. The toilet and counter are not designed for people 4'11”, which is s plus. Staff is lovely. Clientele were there for a variety of reasons. Grounds are mostly well kept. I still cannot get over how people leave bottles and cans outside. Not a lot of trash around like you would see for places at the same price point .They do keep after it. Most importantly, the bed and bedding were comfortable. I wish they had a small table on the other side of the bed to be able to charge phones on that side. Chair is stylish and enormous but uncomfortable! There are outlets, but again, a small side table would have been nice.I would go again! No dogs, next time!
