The bedroom and bathroom appeared to be new and it was clean with comfortable bed linens. Bathroom provided with great liquid soaps and lotions in walk in shower and near bathroom sink. Easy check in and check out with friendly, welcoming staff members. Although our stay did not include breakfast, I was told there was a restaurant and bar in the lobby. This area appeared to be quite large with tables, chairs, etc.

Welcome to the Holiday Inn Monticello. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we are 2 miles from the Historic Downtown Mall. We are the closest hotel to nearby attractions such as Monticello, Ash Lawn Highland, Michie Tavern, and only 1 mile from the University of Virginia and the UVA Hospital. Our hotel is just minutes away from the numerous arts and entertainment events held at the Paramount Theater, Downtown Pavilion, Starr Hill Music Hall, Ash Lawn Opera, and the John Paul Jones Arena. Enjoy the new 5th St station shopping center that has a Alamo draft house dinner theater, restaurants and a wegmans.
