The Gander location requires a refresh. It is an older building and it shows! The beds are extremely soft and not helpful for an aging population with back and neck issues. On a brighter note, your front end staff (Robbin) is very engaging and helpful! Breakfast was good.

I've stayed in many hotels but the Quality Inn in Clarneville is the only one I'll stay at when travelling in the area. The staff are amazing and friendly, the rooms are always spectacularly clean and the breakfast at Bella's is amazing.

Welcome to the newly renovated Quality Hotel Clarenville!This renovation project included a complete building renovation-inside and out. The renovation includes new rooms (with furniture, bathroom, floors and amenities), reception-lobby area, addition of a fitness room, restaurant, meeting and banquet space.The Quality Hotel Clarenville is conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Highway between Memorial Dr and Manitoba Dr entrances into Clarenville. We offer an onsite restaurant,24 hr front desk, catering and meeting space.Our central location is a natural gateway to the Discovery Trail and is perfect for excursions to historic communities of Bonavista and Trinity, reputed site of the first landing of European explorer John Cabot. The trail is a panorama of scenery, historic sites, coastal towns and villages. Located just 1 km West of Clarenville is White Hills Ski Resort. White Hills Resort has the proud distinction of being called "Eastern Newfoundland's Winter Playground". Here you'll find a number of choice trails waiting for you to explore on skis, snowboard or snowshoes.We enjoy one of the most fantastic trail systems for snowmobiling in the province. For the winter vacationer, we are located on the Trans-Canada Snowmobile Trail along with hundreds of kilometers of groomed and marked riding trailsOr enjoy a round of golf. Clarenville is nestled between three of the most spectacular golf courses in our region.
