Property description
Surrounded by rolling vineyards and majestic mountains of the Bottelary Hills in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands, Devonvale Golf & Wine Estate is well located and centred to most of Cape Town. The estate is renowned for its 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Ken Elkin.
There is a large dam in the centre of the course, which feeds the irrigation system and about 90% of the water used is recycled. In fact, the estate has previously won the LIA Environmental Management Water Conservation Trophy.
Devonvale hosts many top tournaments such as the SA Ladies Open, Sunshine Tour, Provincial Opens, Interprovincial tournaments, Ernie Els foundations, SA Open Qualifying rounds, Inter-schools and Senior Opens.
The estate also offers luxury 4-star accommodation ranging from standard hotel rooms to self-catering holiday houses just a stone's throw from Chez Shiraz restaurant and True Oasis Spa.
