I visited this Hotel and it was unfortunately it was less than fair. I strongly believe I should either get my money back or at the very least a free night stay to see if it was just a fluke or is it really just not the Hotel for me. richards3649@yahoo.com.

I called the number listed at the website to reserve my room, but realized when I printed my reservation that I had been communicating with a reservation service. The day I had the reservation I developed gastroenteritis and had to cancel my travel and therefore my room. When I called the number on my reservation I was told I would be charged the full amount of the room, regardless of whether I used the room or not. The person I spoke with was very nice, but very difficult to understand, with a thick accent. I think this practice sucks, especially for a hotel that is lowly rated. I only reserved here because it was within walking distance of Amtrak in St. Paul.

The front desk person was helpful in letting us check-in early and giving us a room that was very quiet. We slept like stones. The location was very convenient for us. We had breakfast in the Inn restaurant and it was very good and reasonably priced. It was a pleasant stay. One minor matter: The TV remote did not work turning the TV on or off (we had to figure out how to do it manually), but it did work to change channels, kind of strange.

This place is very close to a flop house. It was very dirty, particularly in the bathrooms. The only reason I did not give it a rating of "terrible" was the young lady at the front desk. She was the one bright spot.

We had a reservation confirmed by hotel planner but when my staff got to the hotel, there wasn't one and Days Inn and the girl at the reception desk confirmed this the next day as well. They were also very unhelpful and I was lucky that my second team was delayed so my staff could stay at a hotel 10 minutes away that I had also booked. This reservation had cleared on my credit card, just waiting on a refund

The door to our room was very thin with a gap in the door jam that was wide enough where I could look into the hallway. Didn't feel really safe.
