I've stayed at the American Inn several times and each time the rooms are always clean, the staff are friendly and the place is always well maintained. This is my favorite Hotel of all the hotels I've ever stayed in.

I reserved four rooms for one night. I assumed someone from the hotel was helping to reserve our rooms. It was not. I was told things that increased the room cost and I was sold insurance on the rental. I was also told that my rooms were non refundable. Horrible experience! If I had known that I was not dealing with the hotel I would have not placed our reservation. I was taken advantage of in a situation where the sales person ran up the cost because he could sense I needed/wanted those rooms. When I tried to follow up with the salesperson they claimed they could not find our Itinerary number and without it they could not help me. I am not sure who took the reservation and they did not identify themselves. I will NEVER trust your hotel again with these shady procedures in place.

Property Description

Up north Lodge with a comfortable atmosphere. Situated in the woods, we offer a nice patio area, playground, sand volleyball court, firepit, and an outdoor grill. All rooms have refrigerators, coffee makers, and hair dryers. We have an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. We offer a nice breakfast buffet with waffles,bisquits and gravy, and many other items. The meeting space will accomodate up to 50 people banquet style. We are close to several lakes and golf courses. A great place for family reunions, sports groups, and corporate retreats.
