I want to get a refund of $10.93 for the so called "Protection Plan" and am sending this request directly to you because it's impossible to process the refund through your normal channels. While traveling down I 75, my wife got online via her phone to select the hotel and make reservations. The online information indicated the price would be $71.10, plus taxes and fees, none of which were defined at that time nor was there any information about a 'protection plan.' Even when I checked in to the motel, no invoice was available and I was told that the invoice would be emailed to me. I was "floored" when I received the invoice for a total of $123.06, which included $41.03 for fees and taxes and $10.93 buried in the fees for the 'protection plan' It's an absolute joke, that on the invoice, you state that the Refund Protection Plan "was chosen" Refund Protection:Refund Protection Plan Number 4f524141 0053 0000 0400 12b5a6ac6f73 Submit a Refund Request for Hotel Reservation The above plan was chosen at 5:24PM CST on 27 Dec 2024 at the time of booking, from IP address 2600:1004:b18c:5892:485a:bf14:fce:f9eb. $10.93 USD If Travelodge and Wyndham can't be transparent and be 'upfront' with their customers than I DON'T EVER WANT TO BE ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS AGAIN.
