A very imposing hotel, both from a distance and once inside. A warm welcome from reception and a comfortable and spacious room. We rate our stays by a) good bed linen, b) soft towels and c) copious amounts of hot water for the shower. Slalely Hall passed them all with flying colours. Very good breakfast as well. This, plus pleasant and friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. Many thanks to all at the hotel.
