Ground floor room window shade did not work. So there was no modesty as anyone outside could look on. Was told sorry and parts were ordered. Not a good answer for a ground floor room window shade. Hotel was full and no other room available. Not what you would expect from an IHG hotel!

In most cases hotels are hotels but our young lady was superb. We had a group of grieving family (large) and her hospitality was the best I e ever experienced from one star to five star hotels that I've stayed in. Her welcoming smile and attitude and sensitivity to our needs was above and beyond the call. Thank you!

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn three times. The rooms are clean and the air is cold. The beds are comfortable. What sets this property apart is the hospitable staff. The manager has been helpful to me, especially once when I had a guaranteed reservation. I came down with a virus on my way to McCook and was stuck in Hayes Kansas for three days. They refunded my pre payment for the room which was a generous move. This will always be my go to hotel when visiting McCook.
