I am so highly impressed with this hotel and the staff. As I visit many hotels, I am not often greeted at the Front Desk by the Manager. First impression, professional. The lobby area was very large and beautifully appointed with dark wood and comfortable high end funiture. The picturesque window overlooked the grounds of the hotel and the golf course. The rooms are beautifully appointed with high end furnishings, granite counters and updated bathrooms. I viewed a king and a double queen room. Each had a flat panel television, mini-bar and full closet with safety box. The hotel offers a full service spa, state of the art exercise facility and 30,000 s.f. of beautifully appointed function space. The restaurant offers a fabulous menu with outstanding food amd seasonal specials. The restaurant stoked high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and a city feel in a country setting. The Ballantyne area offers a nice variety of restaurants and shopping within a close proximity to the hotel. It is easily accessible off of I-485 on the southeast side of Charlotte. I would highly recommend this hotel to all groups looking for a luxury hotel in the Charlotte area.
