For visiting attractions, our guests do not have to go far from the hotel. Hotel itself can be considered to be attraction - the building was built more than 100 years ago by local fishermen and presented school and public theatre/cinema. It suffered devastation in earthquake (1979) and it wasn't renewed immediately, but the process started in 1998. The building became a hotel and it is under UNESCO protection now. The hotel is located in Boka Kotorska Bay, on the first line from the sea, so the guests can enjoy the view on splendid Orjen mountains and Adriatic sea from their rooms and/or hotel terrace. For exploring it more thorough, we recommend driving along the coastal road and enjoying breath taking landscapes on almost every spot on the road. Kotor Old Town is about 2.5 km from the property. Narrow old streets of this interesting city are filled with different historic buildings (museums, churches, cathedrals) but also modern stores and hospitality places are located there.

Property Description

Hotel Belveder is located in Muo, about 2 km far from Kotor city center and about 2.5 km far from the Kotor Old Town. The property building had many different purposes throughout its rich history. More than 100 years ago, local people invested the money earned from fishing and built a building which was used as a school and local theatre/cinema. After devastated earthquake in 1979, the building was pretty much devastated. The renewal started much later, in 1998. The exterior features were kept but interior was designed to follow modern requirements. People and organizations worldwide appreciate rich history of this place - UNESCO protection proves it. There are 14 rooms inside the property and 2 apartments. All units contain private bathroom, flat screen TV with cable channels and free Wi Fi available. Beside that, there is a hotel buffet where we serve breakfast, pleasant cafe bar on hotel's terrace and event hall (perfect for organizing seminars). Outside the hotel, there is a parking area, swimming pool for our guests and special areas for children: playground and a garden. If you are looking for a place close to Kotor Old Town which offers tranquility and view on amazing Boka Kotorska Bay, in a place where you can sense the spirit of some former epoch, we recommend hotel Belveder!
