"Transportation Problem"

Plane departs at five am. .but HI shuttle not available until 4:30 am. Desk person at 3:30 said I should have had Uber or some online service and did not tell me about any other possibilities. I am 80 years old and actually considered walking the mile with my suitcase to the airport in the dark, Another hotel guest then appeared at the front desk also stating she needed to be at the airport for another early airline departure. After five minutes of standing by the counter. the HI inn desk person said he would call the airport shuttle. of which we had no knowledge. So. .the airport has a free shuttle to/from airport. ..the shuttle driver gets the passenger names and the hotels assume the cost for their guests. This is an airport lodging and transportation to/from airport should not be an issue. The HI conference center is a lovely place..wonderful restaurant. .This issue needs to be resolved! Mary Carhart.
