Remember when travelling was a luxury and people were proud to be a part of the experience? Do you recall an era when ladies wore pillbox hats and men wore ties en route to their destinations? The Pensacola Crowne Plaza Grand is a beautiful reminder of those times, spiced with the modern conveniences today's traveler demands. The entrance building is the original train depot, and as many structural touches as possible have been preserved. There is ample meeting spaces in the original depot, with a restaurant, library/reading area and lounge complete with baby grand piano. This is a full service property offering bell service, a pool, fitness center, and food & beverage services. The rooms are typical of the Crowne Plaza brand, clean and of a good size. Be sure to eat at the restaurant: the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the service is stellar! The hotel is located at the junction of 110 and Gregory, so access to downtown, the beaches, or the Naval air station is easy. Guests should be aware that the train still runs behind the hotel, so light sleepers should ask for rooms at the front of the hotel, or bring ear plugs.

Property Description
Our hotel is a unique mixture of past and present. We are fronted by the historic 1912 L&N Train Depot and complimented by a glass tower with panoramic views of Pensacola and Pensacola Bay. Your guests will enjoy dining in our full-service restaurant, “1912.“ The Cavu Club lounge is decorated with Blue Angels memorabilia and other Naval Air historical mementos.We are centrally located to the areas major attractions and shopping. Our hotel is 3 blocks from historic downtown with boutique shops, art galleries, and museums; 4 miles from Pensacola Naval Air Station, home of the Blue Angels flight demonstration team and the National Naval Aviation Museum which includes an IMAX theater, and 8 miles from beautiful Pensacola Beach. We are conveniently located for all area golf courses.All rooms will have two queen beds, a flat screen television, and mini-refrigerator. We offer free WiFi in all guest rooms and public areas. Airport shuttle service is provided at no charge 6AM-10PM.
