Reduction of food waste
Capella Bangkok is a plastic-free hotel, works with a range of waste reduction consultants to help minimize the hotel’s landfill from over-production. Moreover, it has built its own Greenhouse in the property’s backyard to grow organic herbs and vegetables for use in hotel’s restaurants, bar, and staff canteen.
The hotel’s two signature restaurants, Phra Nakhon and Côte by Mauro Colagreco, feature almost exclusively seasonal ingredients procured from farmers from the Thai countryside, while sustainably-caught seafood is sourced daily from different regions.
