Miners' Bay Lodge (MBL) is a seasonal lodge and resort, open May 15 through to Labour Day for our main season. We can accommodate small groups throughout the fall. MBL is a special place to many and has hundreds of guest families that call MBL their "second home". MBL is more than a venerable summer resort; it upholds the values of tradition and provides a family-friendly holiday experience that have kept guests coming back for many years. Our guests enjoy the daily activities planned by our Sports Director for the kids and adults alike. We have kayaks, canoes and boats available for our guests to use, or they can choose to simply enjoy the relaxation and sunshine on our two lakes with sandy beaches. The weekly organized hikes and s'mores events, shuffle board competitions, tennis and pickleball, and many other organized events give you the option of how busy you would like to be. Our Rec Hall has ping pong tables, a pool table, and a fooseball table, while our lounge is equipped with board games and puzzles for those rainy days.Our Restaurant and Dining room are the perfect backdrops for a great meal and friendly conversation, as well as a full take out menu with many options to satisfy most. You can enjoy some candy or treats from our General Store that features Ontario's best ice cream from Kawartha Dairy, and can pick up those last minute items you forgot to pack and bring with you. You can browse in our gift shop that is stocked with items for local businesses and grab a little something for yourself or that someone specialWe look forward to taking you back to a time when life was easier and family and relaxation was a priority. Cleaning Policies
We are part of the Commitment to clean program. This program has been developed in partnership with the Canadian Hotel Association, Ministry of Health for Ontario and Canada. All of our accommodations are inspected and sealed once it has been cleaned and sanitized. All linens are replaced after every guest and we do not reenter the accommodation unless there is a emergency or a specific service required. Towels are exchanged every 3 days unless required and trash is picked up every day. Hand sanitizer available throughout the property and all high traffic touch points outdoors and in are sanitized every 30n minutes
