Newly built, opened May 2021!Located in Point Loma, the Monsaraz is steps from the harbor where the local fisherman casts off and lands each day. Wake up in our Portuguese influenced midcentury modern property and walk down to our picturesque courtyard for a handcrafted latte from our local roaster, Dark Horse Coffee, and immediately breath in the smell of the ocean air. From your room you can look out the window and see the tops of sailboats, hear the local fisherman getting ready to sail out for the day, and immediately feel like you are experiencing the coastal lifestyle of San Diego the way it is meant to be.Our restaurant Westerly is the gathering place of Point Loma. We focus on utilizing local, seasonal, and coastal ingredients to create inspired, chef-driven interpretations of food and drinks that we all love. Our beautifully plated takes on familiar favorites are a natural complement to the thoughtfully design-driven and inviting aesthetic of Westerly. Our flavors create both a sense of comfort and excitement. Our spaces invite you to explore, engage, and most importantly, escape.
