It is about one and a half kilometres from the hotel to the ring road, i.e. about a 25-minute walk to the city centre.With its attractive guest rooms the hotel in Vienna provides great comfort for a holiday or business trip. You can park your car in the hotel car park.The double rooms are divided into four categories with different facilities. At H+ Hotel Wien, we also have family rooms in the form of studios for up to three people. All guest rooms are furnished with modern facilities and a modern design. Sleep soundly on one of our comfortable twin or double beds, the rooms overlooking the inner courtyard particularly promise peace and quiet.Depending on what type of room you're in, it is possible for you to have an additional bed and you can benefit from a tea and coffee station or your own terrace. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all rooms. A bottle of mineral water is included.In H+ Hotel Wien, you can have breakfast from the buffet in the mornings. H+ Hotel Wien is just under two kilometres northwest of the city centre and you can get there on foot or by tram. Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof and Liechtenstein Garden Palace are just a five-minute walk away. There are several tram stops within a 200-metre radius and the “Friedensbrücke” underground station is around 500 metres away.The Liechtenstein Garden Palace is the ideal place for a short walk from H+ Hotel Wien. Surrounded by a park, which has a children's play area, the baroque Garden Palace - as well as the associated city palace - are still privately owned by the royal family of Liechtenstein. You can visit the art collections and palace rooms as part of a guided tour. Concerts are also often held here, which we recommend that you book for. In summer, the garden is also used for music performances and film showings.The towering Stephansdom in the centre of the city is considered one of the most important Gothic buildings in Austria. What is particularly impressive is the 136-metre high south tower, which also houses the main bell, and the roof, which is 100-metres long and covered with 230,000 roof tiles in ten different colours. The tiles come from Poštorná in Mähren and form a striking zigzag pattern as well as the imperial coat of arms on the south side and the city coat of arms on the north side.Inside, the medieval "Dienstbotenmuttergottes" and the early baroque high alter are well worth seeing, among other things. The H+ Hotel Wien is just a 30-minute walk from the city centre and takes 20 minutes with public transport.The oldest parts of the Hofburg in Vienna date back to the 13th century, and it was converted into an imperial residence in the 16th century. Today, the impressive ensemble is home to the national library and museums, such as the Imperial Apartments, the Sissi Museum, the Treasury or the Ephesus Museum as well as the Albertina Graphic Arts Collection and the Austrian Film Museum.The world famous Spanish Riding School is also located in the Hofburg and can be visited on a guided tour. We also recommend a tour through the castle gardens with the palm house. It is around a 30-minute walk from H+ Hotel Wien and will take around 20 minutes by train.The Naschmarkt in the Mariahilf district is the biggest market in the city. It stretches from the Vienna Secsession at Karlsplatz to the “Kettenbrückengasse” underground station. You can get food of all types from over 120 market stalls, Mediterranean specialities, fresh fish and Asian delicacies. There are also numerous restaurants and bistros just tempting you to come in and take a break.On Saturdays, there is a famous flea market and antique market at the Naschmarkt, where there are around 400 private and professional traders selling antiques and interesting items. The Naschmarkt is just under a fifteen-minute car journey from H+ Hotel Wien.The Prater is an excursion and recreational centre in Leopoldstadt in Vienna. The courses for football, running, golf, skateboarding and disc golf offer a wide range of activities. The amusement park there, known as the “Wurstelprater”, is particularly famous.The famous Ferris wheel was built in 1896 which is still one of Vienna's landmarks today. The numerous amusement stalls and rides, such as ghost trains, roller coasters, merry-go-rounds and much more aren't just for families with children. H+ Hotel Wien is about a 25-minute bus and underground journey from the Ferris wheel at the Prater.
