Stayed at the Stamford hotel for three nights. There was no room service being offered during my entire stay. The heating unit is running like a truck, which is very loud. The temperature control unit has bright blue light as background, which is quite annoying during night time. On top of that, I needed to turn the facet on for 5min to get hot water, similar issue with the shower. Overall, very poor experience.

I think the designers had no clue how difficult travel for those with disabilities can be. For example just look at the overall design for parking your car in the garage and actually entering the hotel's lobby. I would love to stay again at the Stamford but won't/can't.

Parking cost too high. Hotel housekeeping lousy. No entry light working although maintenance was notified. Broken toilet seat was fixed. Had to ask for extra towels, wash cloths, cups, coffee and toilet paper. Bathtub/shower was slippery and considered not safe. Beds were too high for a short person; stool or something else is needed. Staff was considerate.

I called about a week or two before to advise you that I had to cancel due to coronavirus outbreak. I was told by the perso to whom I spoke that she would take the steps needed to cancel, but it seems that something went awry. It seems that some of the correspondence I have received, this inquiry included, indicate that some systems are proceeding on the assumption that I had In fact stayed at the Stamford Sheraton when I did not.
