Stayed one night, the remote for the TV was not working, called the main desk five times, I was told the matter would be resolved and I needed to understand staff is limited. Requested a mat for the tub, which never arrived. Due to work going on in the hotel, guess we're told to contact the main desk to wait for a staff member to escorted guess down.

Upon arrival it was clear this hotel was in decline. The restaurant in the front was closed and boarded up. Front lobby empty and looked as if nothing as been upgraded in years. Elevator wasn't working and needed a staff member to manually take us to our floor. When leaving we have to call the front desk to have someone come get us on the 7th floor. Our room TV wasn't working and after several calls to the front desk nobody came to fix it. Sink in the bathroom was disgusting and clear it hasn't been clean. We decided to get another hotal and left. Upon leaving there were three cars parked in front of the front door with several people obviously partying. Music blasting dancing and smoking pot. Mind you we had our children with us. Definitely never staying here again and we hope others do the same. It was clear nothing has been invested in this place in a long time and looks to be on its way out. Will be asking for a refund.

FRONT DESK WAS SO POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL, CHECK IN WAS QUICK, THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND QUIET THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, HOUSEKEEPING WAS RIGHT ON POINT, EVERYTHING WAS EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED, I'M TELLING YOU IF YOU'RE EVER LOOKING FOR A HOTEL LA QUINTA LONG WHARF NEW HAVEN CONNECTICUT IS THE PLACE THAT YOU WANT TO STAY, TRUST ME THEY WILL SEE ME AGAIN AND I PROMISE YOU ONCE YOU STAY THERE YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
