Since discovering the Grand Stark Hotel in Portland last year, we haven't wanted to stay anywhere else. We love the look and atmosphere of this old hotel, which is clean, inviting and comfortable. There are quality, comfortable pillows and bedding. The staff is always helpful and kind. A much better hotel for the price than other nearby options! Five stars.

Welcoming staff, excellent beds, interesting architecture made this a good hotel stay. I liked the location within walking distance of the Revolution Hall concert venue. The restaurant on site was also excellent.

The bar is ridiculously good! The bartenders are pros. Food is excellent. Rooms are converted Victorian with Art Deco stylings. The neighborhood offers some of the best of Old Portland!
