Alpen Acres Motel is located on a scenic hilltop 1/4 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost 291, near Blowing Rock and Boone, NC.Centrally located to all the local attractions, Alpen Acres is a delightful place to visit. Designed like the motor courts of the past, our accommodations include comfortable rooms and a cozy mountain chalet.We offer king, queen, or double beds, color cable TV, wireless internet, air conditioning, heated outdoor pool, playground, and complimentary continental breakfast.Our grounds are spacious where children can run around, swing on the swings, match up for a game of volleyball, or in the winter, build a snowman. We're just two miles to the slopes. In the summer our pool is a welcome refreshment after a long day out.
