It's was ok? what sucks is when you put up $150.00 pet refund and 6 days waiting for them to release my money.

I am a frequent traveler; great place to stay. Chris the Manager is a gem and made us feel very welcome even though we were only there for one night on our first visit. Very clean room, entertaining murals, safe location we will return for a longer stay. Highly recommended.

"Great place during the week!"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
We stayed there from 8/10 to 8/12 and we had a pleasant stay. The rooms are dated, as is the City, but clean and comfortable. Chris cooked up a great breakfast and it was nice to stay during the week when it was quiet. DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY though if you have reservations! No early check in! With that being said. I do recommend Lookout Lodge.

"Very relaxing, nice views."
Overall Score4.0/ 5
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to visit Tombstone and Bisbee. It was a nice place to relax when we were not at Tombstone and Bisbee. The view of the Dragoon Mountains was very nice and we liked the grounds and the fire pit at night. You get a free breakfast but I felt bad for the lady who was all by herself to cook breakfast for all the guests and she also ran the office. When we finally got our breakfast on Saturday it was very good and the lady was very nice. Unfortunately, Sunday was very busy for breakfast, so we just had some coffee and ate a few snacks in our room. Also, it was disappointing that the pool was closed down, but overall, a very nice place to stay for the price and a nice relaxing lodge with a nice view!

"Good hotel, better view, great town!"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
I'll shoot strait. It's no palace, but it's a great place to rest your head after a long trail ride. Salt of the earth people run it. Be good to them, they are great to you. Stayed in a pet room with my Husky Mix. She's not used to being in a kennel but seemed fine even after staff came in and made up the room, so they must have been sweet to her. Because of the lousy COVID their breakfast is kind of limited compared to what they must have done in the past but they make you a decent selection of breakfast foods, cereal, oatmeal and coffee. Try to get in there round 8 to 9 but they serve till ten, but take it easy on the sweet cook there, give her time cause she makes it with love and love is better when it's not rushed. It's a Mining/Cowboy town folks, come expecting that and you'll have a great time. It's a bit outdated, but it's comfy and clean. A good place for pups too, hopefully they aren't used to going on grass, otherwise the walks might take a little bit longer. There's a Circle K up the street, like 40 seconds into town, hit it up for drinks and snacks for your night. Trust me. Sun comes up early, definitely close those blinds at night. We had a blast in the town, do the mine tour, eat at big nose Kate's and hit the hay at this hotel. Good times in Tombstone.

"Great price/value hotel."
Overall Score4.0/ 5
Landmark is an eclectic hotel close to the Tombstone tourist town. The views are indeed beautiful and all rooms have a view of the mountains and valley. The rooms are modestly appointed but clean. The property is well managed with a lot of outdoor seating for star watching. They are pet friendly and even have a little pet relief area with doggie bags for guests. The free breakfast is like grandma used to make and hotel staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. A good choice to stay on your way out west or cross country. It's very authentic old Arizona and a breath of fresh air from the chain hotels.

"The only place in town that takes pets."
Overall Score3.0/ 5
The hotel room was adequate; clean and beds were comfortable. I do wonder though how it passed AAA inspection: the whole hotel needs a face lift with updated rooms/bathrooms and outdoor area for the dogs. The grassy area in the rear was loaded with burrs and there were no dog poop bags or near bye trash cans. The tile in the bathroom was pretty but the fixtures were old and leaked and the bathtub did not drain. The weather strip on the door was missing at the bottom (I don't remember seeing anything on the sides). This concerned me because my dog had her bed next to the door and I was afraid ants, baby snakes and other creatures could crawl under the door and join her. The window did not lock and the pull up shade and old window sheer need to be replaced. The breakfast was a huge disappoint with one person running the show. It was not his fault the food trays were always empty, the orange juice ran clear, the yogurt refrigerator was warm and the place was a mess. There was no milk for cereal. The waffle maker was the only source of food and it needs to have the heater checked; 1/2 of the waffle did not cook. The host/cook/bottle washer/bus boy was all in one and I seriously doubt he will last long if more help is not brought in. You may have the only game in town, but I would recommend to anyone to drive back to Tucson.

"Nice place, no big issues."
Overall Score3.0/ 5
This hotel is nice. The grounds are clean, rooms are clean. There are some things that could be spruced up a bit. Some things could use some maintenance. The sink in our room would not shut all the way off, however this did not bother us. Personally we found the beds were too hard. They do seem to be doing some renovations here and there. Breakfast, however was fine and plentiful. Every employee we encountered was nice and polite. We have stayed in worse hotels, but, I think I would probably try someplace else if I was to go back to the area.

"Great breakfast! Nice room! Horrendous check-in!"
Overall Score3.0/ 5
When we arrived there was one lady at the front desk and five people in line to check-in. It took almost five minutess to check each one in. We got in line (what else could we do) and waited. While waiting the phone rang and I said "Please don't answer that" she said "I have to". It was a guest who was having trouble changing channels on his tv; grrrr! The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were good. We'd probably stay there again but they must do something about that check-in.

"I love this funky cowboy motel and will definitely return!"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
I stayed here during the course of the Vendetta ride in Tombstone, an annual trek back in time to celebrate the big Gunfight at the OK Corral. It's a lovely little place with winding stone pathways and a romantic view of the desert and distant mountains. Tombstone is less than 5 minutes away so it was very convenient. Staff was courteous and helpful. It's nothing fancy, but the room was comfortable and plenty spacious. Comfy King-size bed, reasonable rates.
