Logan is a small city located in Hocking County, Ohio. Just over 7,000 residents call it home. The city serves as the county seat and sits on the banks of the Hocking River. It is about 48 miles from the state capital of Columbus. The city's name comes from Chief Logan of the Mingo Indian Tribe, who lived with his band in the area when European-American settlers settled there.
