Hillsville is a place where the rhythm of life seems to slow down, and the beauty of nature and culture come together in the most harmonious way. First things first, the Blue Ridge Music Center is an absolute must-visit. Located just a short drive away, this place is like a shrine to the region's rich musical heritage. You can catch live performances, explore interactive exhibits, and even take part in a little jam session. Now, for a taste of local history, head over to Mabry Mill. Last but not least, to stretch your legs and immerse yourself in nature, the New River Trail State Park is the perfect spot. This linear park offers miles of multi-use trail along an abandoned railroad right-of-way, and it's ideal for biking, hiking, or even horseback riding. The views are spectacular, with the trail meandering along the New River, through lush forests, and past lovely farmlands. Hillsville has a little something for everyone.
