'If you look at the ticket sales, India and the US are nearly the same. Where we lose out is on the currency valuation. The rupee is weaker than the dollar. So while we may be selling as many tickets, our revenues are significantly less in dollar terms., Produre Subhash Ghai explained. With more than 3 times the population of the United States, India would certainly be a force to be reckoned with should their currency valuation be equal. In a recent survey, the home town of Subhas Ghai, Nagpur, was identified as the best city in India. Known being a major trade centre of oranges cultivated in the region, it is aptly nicknamed The Orange City. While it is still developing to fulfill its potential as the best city in India, many tourists have already recognized its pending transformation and are visiting the city before it is commercialized. Hotels in Nagpur are already starting to establish their foothold in the city, hoping to get a jump start on the tourism boost.
