The Park City center point is about the area of Olympic Welcome Plaza and the area of Miners Hospital Community Center.
Park City, UT is the ultimate getaway: it is an escape from the real world. Its the perfect place to go anytime of year. In the fall and winter, the snow starts coming down, and it's a winter wonderland. Snowboarding and skiing at Park City Resort is amazing. The snow is so light, sometimes you don't even need to wear a jacket. In the summer and spring, there are the outlets at Kimball Junction or white water rafting in Heber or mountain biking/hiking on the slopes. Don't forget to check out Main St. Purple Sage is one of my favorite restaurants that I have ever been to, and the pizza shop at the bottom of Town Lift is always packed with people needing a little snack. The only bad part is the ride in from Salt Lake City, its an hour drive through a canyon. It can be rough, but definitely worth it.
Park City, Utah, is a year-round destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Its high elevation means that summers are cool and winters are nippy. If you want to explore the region during the summer, plan to arrive around the beginning of June when the temperatures average around 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. The heat doesn't stick around for long as temps drop off in the beginning of September. The cold arrives toward the last third of November and hangs around until the beginning of March with average daily highs below 35 degrees.
The wet season starts at the beginning of August and lasts until the beginning of June. Rain is the dominant type of precipitation until the beginning of November when temperatures drop below freezing and snow takes over.
The Silverado Lodge Park City Canyons Village is an affordable hotel with pleasantly appointed rooms that includes amenities such as free high-speed Wi-Fi, kitchenettes with kitchenware, DVD players, washer/dryers in units, flat-screen TVs, private bathrooms with showers and bathtubs, and free toiletries. The resort features a year-round outdoor pool, covered parking, a fitness center, a barbecue/picnic area, free self-service laundry, a safe deposit box, dinner delivery from local restaurants, and easy access to the lifts for the trails in the summer and the slopes in the winter.
The Sundial Lodge by All Seasons Resort Lodging is a condominium-style hotel with units that are more like apartments than hotel rooms. Each unit features a gas fireplace, a DVD player with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea maker, a microwave and mini fridge, a private bathroom with jetted tub, a hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, and an in-unit washer and dryer. The hotel property features an outdoor hot tub, an outdoor heated pool, an outdoor plunge pool, ski-in/ski-out in winter, a common area grill, a fire pit, underground parking, free seasonal shuttle service, a ski valet, and a 24-hour front desk.
Marriott's Summit Watch offers generous discounts that make their already reasonable rates even better. Members of AAA/CAA can get discounts on rooms and services, seniors 62 or over can get at least 15% off the daily rate, and government employees and military members are eligible for special rates and offers with a valid ID. Rooms at the hotel have amenities that include a mini fridge and microwave, a kitchenette, free high-speed Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with DVD player, premium movie channels and cable channels, a coffee/tea maker, and a private bathroom with deluxe toiletries.
The Marriott Summit Watch hotel amenities include an indoor-outdoor connecting pool, a whirlpool, a fitness center, a business center, an arcade and children's club, laundry facilities, barbecue grills, a convenience store, a picnic area, and a coffee shop.
Another hotel with great discounts is the Best Western Plus Landmark Inn. Members of AAA can get up to 15% off their hotel room rate, members of AARP can get anywhere between 5% and 15%, and government employees and members of the military can get special deals and packages on their hotel rooms. Room amenities at the hotel include high-speed Wi-Fi, coffee/tea makers, wireless data ports in the rooms, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, free local calls under 30 minutes, microwaves and mini fridges, and bathrobes in hot tub suites. Check out the annual art festivals in the summer, go on a scenic drive in the fall and see the fall foliage, hike in the state parks, and ski the slopes. It's just about impossible to run out of things to do in Park City, Utah.
Want to go down the slopes, but it's summer and there's no snow? No problem! Head over to the Park City Mountain Village and hop on the Alpine Slide. The slide is 3,000 feet of track and is one of the longest of its kind in the world. There are multiple trackways to take so you can keep going up and down the slopes for as long as you like and not get bored with the experience.
Are you tired of going down the slopes in the winter and want to try something else? Check out the Winter Bobsled Experience at the Utah Olympic Park. A professional bobsled pilot takes three people down the track that was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics. It's a fresh new way to experience going down the mountains at high speed and with two of your best friends.
Rockport State Park and Wasatch State Park offer year-round outdoor activities for the adventurer in you. Rent a kayak, a wave runner, or a paddleboard on the Rockport Reservoir, or fish from the shore. Go camping in one of the two parks and get away from it all for a while. Or go snowshoeing to float above the snow and see the beautiful winter wonderland.
There's no denying that Park City, Utah, is an incredible place for a vacation. From the beautiful scenery to the Sundance Film Festival, it's got something to offer for everyone.

So much to do, so much to see. I would recommend staying in Park city anytime of the year summer and or winter fall spring anytime.
Everything is within a good walking distance, ski, hike, excellent bars and food. Good shopping.
Park City is very quaint, with unique touches around every corner. Fabulous boutiques and restaurants, a must visit destination.
