Paris, TX is a nice little city. I can enthusiastically recommend eating at The Roadhouse. Great food, really good prices, and awesome service.
I wish we'd had more time in Paris - unfortunately some of the attractions were closed early in the week. Of course we had to see the Eiffel Tower but the best thing was the beautiful Veterans' Memorial next to it. The downtown square with its impressive fountain was sparkling with Christmas lights. We enjoyed the lively vineyard and good food at nearby 107. On our return trip we sampled the barbecue at Scholls - a consistent award-winner. I'm pretty sure this is the coolest Paris outside of France!

The Tour De Paris was well organized. Paris has a variety of eating establishments. It also has a nice amount of things to see for a town this size.
