Below are reviews of the city of Hatteras, NC from an actual visitor's perspective.
Free ferry to Ocracoke. Great surf fishing at Hatteras inlet. I love ORV ramp 55.
We enjoyed how easygoing everyone was in the shops and restaurants. The "town" part is very small so very manageable for a day trip or weekend.
Nice...very nice hotel!
