Cleaning Policy: Extra cleaning guidelines have been put into place. We are adding additional peroxide to our linen to be sure all are completely sanitized. Breakfast buffet is closed but we are offering "Grab & Go" bags and also coffee. We have several free standing hand sanitizer stations. The 6 feet markers are placed in the lobby to ensure social distancing. All rooms keys are sanitized upon return before being reused. Housekeeping is sanitizing all "touching" surfaces each time entering a room in additional to their normal cleaning. All "high touched" surfaces like elevator buttons, tables, door handles, etc. are sanitized once an hour by the staff.

My daughter was upset after hearing the pool had a maintenance issue and was closed. The incredible kind and amazing receptionist helped to reassure my daughter and took it upon herself to make my daughter feel better. Above and beyond and I hope this thank you finds its way to her. I wish I could recall her name so I could give her a personalized shout out. Truly made a situation that could have crushed my daughter into one where she was back to her cheerful self in just a short time. Thank you! Can't wait to come back to New Bern, NC and find all the bears!

The lack of workers/customer service wasnt the best. Check in time is at 3pm. There should be at least two ppl especially for weekend traffic. We had to wait a while bc she was so busy..maybe the staff number was cut due to Covid requirements/budget. Also, the the shower had mold in it. Did not feel clean after my shower.
