Come discover one of Alaska's grand lodges. The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge is a stunning large timber building with a three-story river rock fireplace. Expansive decking offers panoramic vistas of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range. Overlooking the Susitna, Chulitna and Talkeetna Rivers, our lodge features 212 sleeping rooms with scenic mountain and forest views. Our award winning restaurants and lounge feature delicious Alaskan cuisine, fine wines and local brews.The lodge is surrounded by 640 acres of wilderness. 35 of these acres encompass a total of seven buildings making up Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. All guest rooms feature remote controlled satellite television, wireless internet, coffee makers, hair dryers and other standard amentities. The suites each have their own fireplace and two have whirlpool tubs.The four main meeting spaces accommodate groups from 10 - 200. The Pavilion and Lower Viewing Deck are also used by many groups for specialty activities and events. The Geocaching course located on site is perfect for team building. Shuttle service between the lodge, Alaska Railroad Depot and downtown Talkeetna is complimentary.The lodge is the only hotel on the road system with a view of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range from both sleeping rooms and public areas. The view from Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge is unsurpassed.
