Hibernian Hall (Upstairs Portion)
Adjacent to the hotels famous Fountain Courtyard, the grand Hibernian Hall has been a Charleston Icon since 1840. This historic hall greets its guests with two winding staircases and a magnificent three story rotunda above a black and white checked marble floor. The Grand Ballroom, located on its second floor, adorns a 30 foot ceiling with its original uniquely decorated gilded chandeliers. The hall also contains a permanent stage with four antique fireplaces surrounding the room and floor to ceiling windows.
Although The Mills House Hotel will secure this venue and will supply all services to your group, Hibernian Hall is a separate entity from The Mills House Hotel. Hibernian Hall is a private non profit historic facility and is not required to meet all current ADA standards.
