I would have to think long and hard about ever staying at Doubletree again. I stressed that I had to have handicap room with a walk in shower and an adjoining room for the care giver. What we got was handicap room with a tub. They said they would move us the next day to what we had requested and they did, but my husband banged his leg knocking a big bruise that immediately broke open causing us to find a Drug store to get gauze and tape to treat the wound. Also, when a person suffers with mild Dementia and problems walking it is very confusing to have to change and keep explaining how he hurt his leg stepping over the tub. The other problem we had was on Sat. I had to call at 4 PM because the room hadn't been cleaned at the same time we were trying to get dressed to go to an anniversary party. I told the front desk as we were checking out. They comped breakfast for two days, apologized, and gave water and snacks. All in all, I was very disappointed after I had gone over my needs so many times.
