I had two issues. one I asked them not to run my card I would pay cash but they ran the card amount anyway. I paid cash for two days and the gal said the charge would come off in a day. Hasn't yet. There was a cockroach in the kitchen. I know that is a tough one to control. Enjoyed overall. Booked two nights for world Golf Village. I called reservations and a gal named Melissa was top shelf. Her knowledge and skill booking this was amazing. She knew her business and was on !

"Could have beed a very good but feel Short."

The property looks nice and the hotel suite is laid out nice. But the short staff a cleaning leave it short which is a management problem. We got into our room ready for a shower and everything looked normal till I look up to hang my washcloth on the shower rod and notice two other dirty clothes hanging there. OK, no big deal then I go to pour a cup of coffee and there is no cup in the cabinet. I look there all in the dishwasher and no soap to be had. I call down to the desk and I have to go get it. That's right plus anything else that is out of stock like the paper towel's I pick up while there. The breakfast included became a brown bag of bottled water, a granola bar and a muffin. You could special request a crescent sandwich. It was okay other than the fact it tasted microwaved. The Gym looked clean and was stocked with towels. I loved the outside fire pitt by the pool. I was in a wheel chair and found it difficult to always have to enter from hafway down the front of the building. There is no sheltered ADA drop off area and only one ADA entrance which does have auto doos which is nice. They only have two ADA parking spaces and NO king bed ADA room with ADA showers. Need to have better cleaning staff. Room suite dishes and pans need to be updated. They were a little small and dirty. I know one of the other patriens asked to have their pan replaced. It looked like it was used on an outdoor fire pit. I have to admit ours was not much better but was clean enough I felt it was okay to use. Call it a COVID problem, maybe. I think I will call it a management problem. It looks great and could have such great potential with just a little effort.

Everyone was very friendly. My room was clean. I just wish there was secure access to the internet. I couldn't text home either. But I would stay there again and refer people.

"Front desk lady VERY RUDE."

Ok, so our room was nice and the hotel is very nice but what made it bad was the front desk lady, who I'm pretty sure is in charge. As myself and my wife were in line the gentleman ahead of us was asking if the pool was open and about breakfast. Now to set the stage this is May 16th 2020 and the governor has started to open things back up due to the COVID 19 Virus. This gentleman was no doubt suffering from cancer and was just asking a simple question. Her remark was no NONE OF THOSE ARE OPEN AND I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE EVEN TRAVELING! I bit my toung as I wanted to say “ so you can have a damn job!” This lady is about in her early 30's with her hair always pulled back it is very clear that all the other ladies in there fear her! I want ever go back just because of her!

"Excellent Experience, Great Location, and Super Helpful Front Desk"

We have been to Charleston a number of times. Next time I'll look to return here. We had a two bedroom two bath unit with a nice dining table we turned into a mobile office. The unit was clean and comfortable. I found the front desk staff very helpful. We arrived Sunday evening and after settling in wanted to get something to bring back to the unit. D'Andre searched and called several restaurants for their hours, what kind of soups they had (my wife wanted soup), etc., then sent me to a great deli that was only two miles away and across the street from a grocery store, which was the next thing I needed. My son enjoyed going to the snack store inside the lobby, they had his favorite Ben and Jerry's flavor. However, no chocolate for my wife. This evening Ashley at the desk put a complimentary chocolate in our freezer for her! This is service you don't expect. The facility also offers a nice breakfast, afternoon snacks and a happy hour during the week with hot food, complimentary wine and beer. Marriott is also remodeling the property, so I'm sure it will be even nicer next time!
