While it has grown increasingly crowded and commercialized over the last more than 50 years since our honeymoon, we love the scenery of the beach and rocks; we enjoy the walk ability of the town and the multitude and variety of shops and restaurants located in such wonderful proximity. We can be busy or relaxed as we choose; we can check out new shops or frequent the ones we've enjoyed for decades. We have traveled across the United States from Alaska and Hawaii to the Eastern Seaboard; to Canada and Europe, but Cannon Beach will always be our favorite yearly destination.

Good restaurants! We enjoyed each restaurant we tried. The town is lovely with an explosion of flowers everywhere! Hydrangea bushes in every color! We even saw female elk within the town and one evening at 7:30 we saw one on main street corner eating flowers from hanging baskets! The town has a population of black rabbits that are beautiful, hanging out in yards along the main road. Delightful small town. The akjacent state park is fabulously beautiful!
