No welcome atmosphere at front desk upon arrival, the next morning I went back to front desk to ask for Internet password. The girl got very defensive about it when all she had to do was hand me the piece of paper. Breakfast was the usual substandard fare. But please do us a favor and don't bother putting out your one rotten black banana. The ocean view room was a huge disappointment. Not just the fact that the ocean view balcony saw a sliver of ocean. But worse yet, no deadbolt on the hall door and no useable lock on the sliding glass door. The sliding glass door was on the balcony over the parking lot and if someone had wanted to they only had to stand on a car and hop onto the balcony. The bathroom drains were slow which even made brushing your teeth unpleasant. On the bright side it was clean. On the pools, the low water level in the hot tub made the jets spew water in your face and up into the air. It was like this for all four days we were there so it made me wonder that if the staff wasn't taking care of that no brainer were they monitoring the chemicals correctly. Kudos to the security staff which were friendly, helpful and were actually walking the grounds and making a presence. Probably the only reason someone didn't climb in our door during our stay. Thanks for the memories Holiday Inn, I'm sure we'll be laughing about this vacation for years.
