Temperatures consistently top out in the high 90s or even the triple digits, and humidity can soar to complete saturation. However, the evenings often cool down, providing perfect weather for exploring the city or taking a trip to Memphis. Because of the large numbers of people on vacation, make sure to book a hotel room months in advance.
From October through the end of November, the summer temperatures cool down, but the sun still shines the majority of the time. The weather can change suddenly, so pack your rain gear and dress in layers. Hotel demand cools off as well, so you can often snag a deal during this time of the year.
